Whether it’s work, family, or mates, being stressed makes you feel really low. It may seem that there is no time in the day to focus on exercise but 15 mins of anything will help that stress in lots of ways. These are just three ways exercise can help your stress.
Encourages mindfulness.
Mindfulness is all about staying present. When you exercise you will allow yourself to switch off from everything else for a short while so you can reengage your focus on whatever is stressing you outside of your workout.
Engages your confidence.
When your confidence isn’t high in work, it’s hard not to let that seek into every other aspect of your life. I want you to switch this on its head. Allow a really good workout to build your confidence in and outside of that session so you can perform at your best in whatever context.
Redirects your motivation.
It’s hard to feel like anything is going right when you are stressed out. Motivation is one of the first things that takes an initial hit. Using a great workout goal to focus you again will increase your motivation not only with your workouts but in every challenge of your life.
